Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University offers overseas fellowships to encourage students to pursue a global education. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university to avail of the scholarships. More information about the DDU Gorakhpur scholarships are given below.

• Two fellowships of Rs. 1,00,000 per year for three years are available for international research students.
• Students from other countries pursuing their PhD at Gorakhpur University will be chosen by a committee formed for the purpose.
• Meritorious international students studying at Gorakhpur University will be chosen by a committee formed for the purpose based on merit and other criteria.
• 05 Fellowships for Indian Research Students on International Research Visits.

(a) Travel Grant up to Rs. 1,00,000/- 

(b) Sustenance Fund up to $1000/- per month for a maximum of six months

(c) $1000/- for a three-month stay and $2000/- for a six-month stay.

• Bright research DDU GKP students will be chosen based on their performance and the approval of a foreign host.
• Annually, the Indian government awards Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University scholarships under the GSS initiative to international students from various Asian, African, and Latin American nations. 
• DDU GKP scholarships are provided to students enrolled in any university's courses, excluding the medical stream.

Stipend and Duration

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly living allowance, a monthly rent allowance, an annual contingent grant, thesis and dissertation expenses for the course duration. In addition, they will also get medical benefits with all of the above stipends varying for different courses.
