The Training & Placement cell espouses an out of the box approach to business issues enabling the students to interact with prominent entrepreneurs, to access opportunities in entrepreneurship, to share ideas, shape business plans, and develop the skills necessary to lead, build, and innovate. The cell undertakes three major activities: Instituting lecture by corporate leaders and organizing professional and management games and case competitions. Workshops and industry talks are organized through the year, with the twin goals of gaining familiarity with current industry trends and business practices and improving relations with institute corporate partners. The objectives of the placement cell include:

1. To place the out coming engineers properly by arranging campus interviews after discussion with corporate people
2. To explore the future possibilities for placing agricultural engineers within and outside the state
3. To organize lectures on developing professional and entrepreneur skills for the young professional technocrats
