CIMAT is located at the foothills of the Western Ghats and the Manchester of South India, Coimbatore. The campus is spread over a sprawling area of about 10 acres, surrounded by green hillocks. Not only close to nature but the campus is situated near to some of the leading manufacturing hubs in the city. It is designed keeping in mind the needs of students to inspire innovation both in academics and extracurricular activities.

CIMAT Coimbatore Campus Facilities

CIMAT Coimbatore offers various facilities that students can avail of on campus. Some of these are as follows:

• Learning Ambience: The classrooms are well-equipped with aids like projectors, LCDs, etc. 
• Library: The library is well-stocked and regularly updated with the latest journals and newsletters. It also provides access to online databases like Bloomberg. The services are available for working professionals too.
• Hostel: The college has separate on-campus hostel facilities for boys and girls, equipped with all modern amenities. The hostel provides a study table and chair, 24-hour electricity and water supply, water cooler facility, common telephone, and common TV room, WI-FI, fitness centre, a reading room and a computer room. 
• Cafeteria: A cafeteria with modern facilities is available within the campus. With a seating capacity of over 400, the cafeteria serves healthy and hygienic South Indian Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food. 
• Sports Facility: The college is committed to promoting sports activities towards the all-round growth of its students. The campus has facilities for soccer, cricket, basketball, volleyball, throw ball, badminton, indoor games etc.
