CLASS ROOMS

Our class rooms are ably aided with fully air-conditioned comfortable seating and latest teaching tools to smooth transfer of knowledge. The class rooms provide the most conductive atmosphere for the dynamic and focused discussions. We also have well equipped tutorials rooms which are designed for closer interaction between students and lecturers.

24 hours power backup supply (electricity, silent generator & other sources) and highly secured campus through CCTV camera.

SECURITY AT CAMPUS

• Entry through main gate only.
• Round-the-clock checking of public and private vehicle at main gate.
• No exit without a gate pass for vehicles carrying goods & equipments.
• Restricted entry of salesmen, hawkers and other unauthorized persons.
• Security guards posted at all important locations (Hostels, Residential Area, Institute Building, Temple, Dispensary and Play fields).

• The college has most modern laboratories and workshops for the core academic departments as well as for the supporting departments, along with specialized labs and state of the art workshops.

 CENTRAL LIBRARY

The Central Library is housed in a modern building having all kinds of facilities for its best utilization by the student community. It has a large number of volumes of technical books along with a good collection of books on literature, general awareness, management and moral sciences etc. The central library is already subscribed to a large number of National and International journals. Besides print subscription users are having access to full text of articles from journals under the INDEST Consortium. The central library is having all the modern facilities like Plasma TV; MMP; CTV; OHP; Slide Projector etc. A good collection of VCD’s as well as CD ROMs is also available in the library. Efforts have been made so that users may feel comfort while they study or consult library material for their study and research purpose.

COMPUTER CENTER

The computer center is solely responsible for keeping Computation related facilities available to each and every member of CLGIET Sumerpur. The Computer Center provides Email, Web, DNS, FTP, Internet access, HPC and other services 24 hours and 365 days a year. Computer Centre also provides various advance and special purpose software for all the campus users. The computer lab has 2 Mbps dedicated broadband internet connectivity using BSNL’s Optical Fiber leased line for round the clock operations.

TRANSPORT

We have our own fleet of buses to cater the transportation needs of our students and staff. These buses ply to every corner of the city. The transportation facility is also available from Jodhpur, Sirohi, Jalore and Pali. Our efficient transport facilities insure that our students & staff are able to reach college in time & with utmost ease.
Our institute maintains the vehicle section through which number of facilities are provided to students, staff and faculty members of the institute.

FACILITIES PROVIDED

• Buses are also provided for an education tour of students.
• Vehicles are also provided for any official visit provided approved by the competent authority.
• Vehicle is also provided to staff and faculty members for picking and dropping to Railway station, Bus stand on payment basis.

MEDICAL CARE

We believe health is a state of physical, mental, social & spiritual well being. We will be having in the campus dispensary with full time doctor for providing medical care to our students and staff. We also have tip ups with two reputed hospitals which are in close proximity to the college. We will also offer health insurance policies to our students. It provides day to day medical facilities at primary level for the students, staff and faculty. For general awareness, Health Center organizes various seminar/camps with the help of Distt. Health Deptt.

HOSTELS

The campus provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls. The hostess with the finest of amenities and facilities so that the inmates ensure a comfortable stay and can pursue their studies in right earnest. Other facilities in the hostels include hygienic, kitchen, dinning halls, and guest rooms.

Hostel administration is managed by a Chief Warden and a team of Wardens drawn from the faculty and appointed by the Director on a tenure basis. Hostel Advisory Council headed by the Director is responsible for major policy decisions with respect to the hostel administration. The Hostel Executive Committee takes decisions on routine matters. Students have representation on both the administrative bodies. Hostel office has a full-fledged supporting staff and other workers.
