Library

Information is an essential input to national development. The modern library has great responsibility in harnessing and utilization of information. The library and information centers strive for high quality of library services which emphasis the actual delivery of information rather than actual delivery of documents for meeting their generic as well as specific needs of the users.

The CGPIT Library consists of vast variety of materials (Books, Magazines, Journals, Seminar reports etc.) which support the teaching, research and extension programs of the Institute. All students, faculty members of the institute are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library membership. The library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and humanities offers library services through its various divisions.

Canteen

The College Canteen has a very large spacious area, with a scenic view around. It serves variety of delicious and hygienic food. At the canteen, dishing out menus are highly popular among students as well as staffs. Students enjoy their food in the clean, well maintained, aesthetic and appetising atmosphere. It is the place where they keep their creative juices flowing with hot discussions, chewing ideas, exchanging and sharing strongly held opinions and eatables. There is a strong check on quality of food that is being served to the students. Special care is being taken to maintain cleanliness in the food serving zone and kitchen to provide hygienic food to students.

Hostel

CGPIT offers excellent hostel facilities (separate for both boys and girls) within the campus for optimum utilization of student's time for overall personality development. The hostels offer "a home away from home" aura for hundreds of students. The aim is to create ideal conducive and encouraging conditions for students to stay focused on academic accomplishments. All rooms are quite airy and ventilated. Round the clock security is provided to the hostellers.

Students stationary store & Photocopying

CGPIT is a college which has catered to the needs of the students. It has a stationary shop so the students feel at ease and everything is available to them. This shop is student friendly for all the right reasons. It sells all kinds of stationery items from copies to pens so that the students don't have to go outside the college premises and waste their time. There is also Xerox centre where students can get their notes and other material photocopied which again saves their time.

Sports Facility- Indoor and Outdoor

Play takes many forms, but the heart of play is pleasure "an important component in learning" (Perry, 2001). Playgrounds are traditional sites for youth interaction. CGPIT takes care of student's physical fitness, intelligence and creativity by organizing various sports tournaments in the college playground. This allows interaction among students and gives them the opportunity for physical, social, and mental development.

Transportation

The students have to commute from different cities to college for which the College provides bus facility from different important points of the cities (Surat, Valsad, Navsari, Bardoli) covering various routes. Apart from providing transportation facility to students and staff, the College also provides this facility for industrial visits and excursion trips. CGPIT has an excellent transport facility for the faculty, staff & students with flexible and competitive fare.

The institute buses are operated in 8 different routes; Bus drivers are well equipped with Mobile phones for the convenience of the students and staff. The transport facility remains available for any kind of emergency round-the-clock.
