Labs & Training Centres

Advancements in technology has opened many doors in Education. The use of Computers can be an effective way of learning from hands on experience. The College has a well furnished Computer Lab and Language Lab with more than with all latest Computers, which caters to the need of B.Ed. students. The Computer Lab is also having multimedia projector and internet facility to train the students comprehensively in all the modern technologies which will help them to be a good teacher. It is used for imparting practical training to the students and also helps them to use the computer as a problem-solving tool in teaching

ICT Resource Center

In ICT resource center we have – Television, OHP, LCD Projector, Tape recorder, Blank Cassettes, Transparencies, CDs and DVDs, Digital camera, Video Camera, Mike with Speakers. These facilities are used by teachers as well as by students for their presentation and other work.

Science And Mathematics Resource Center

The college also has a well-equipped laboratory with all the equipment necessary to carry experiments required at school level and to develop the spirit of scientific attitude for prospective teachers. It is adequately stocked with samples required in Biology, chemicals required for chemistry and other necessary equipments. Working models of different topics of Maths prepared by pupil teachers along with Mathematic Kit is also available in the lab.

Psychology Lab

Psychology lab is a very important feature of any education college. In this lab we have different tests and tools to assess the intelligence, personality and creativity of the students. Proper Guidance and counseling services are also provided to the students on issues ranging from those concerning with education to those relating to personal matters. The walls of this lab are well adorned with the pictures of eminent psychologists along with their achievements and there is also a Bulletin board for display of necessary information..

Hostels

We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within the campus. We offer separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. Below mentioned are the best hostel facilities available, subject to variation with respect to the hostel and/or room pattern allotted:

Canteen/SIP N BITE

CCHMCT has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. Canteen can conveniently accommodate 500 students at a time, functioning in the campus. The canteen is provided with modern furniture and electrical automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides hot lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. The College has a Canteen inside the campus in which variety of dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons.

When the grind of the studies reach its height, students seek refreshment in the dazzling cafeteria (SIP-N-BITE) offers a wide range of fast food varieties at nominal prices.

Gymnasiums

Keeping in mind the health and fitness of its students and employees, the College provides a state-of-the-art gymnasium fully-equipped with the latest equipment within the campus. Instructors and trainers are available throughout the day to train the students.
Our gymnasium is a fine recreational facility with fully equipped weight-training section and a qualified kinetics. The campus has a spacious gym provided with all latest equipments required for physical exercises and gymnastics so that students can make effective use of facilities for maintaining a good physique and sound health.

Transport

CCHMCT owns a fleet of luxurious transport buses that pick and drop faculty members/students from different places.
The transport facility is spread across a wide range of area covering Ambala, Roorkee, Sirhind, Mohali, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Manimajra, Rajpura, Patiala, Morinda, etc
