E-Library & Journals

The library with an open access has more than 25,000 books and more are added regularly as per as need /demand. The library subscribes National and International and E-journals as per requirement of the students and faculty members. Currently more than 60 journals are on display in the library. Large number of books and journals are also subscribed on line for the benefit of all category of students to be used even while sitting at home. To keep the students update regarding currents scenario of advancement, career opportunities and other political –socio happenings, all types of newspapers, magazines are provided to the readers and faculty. The BIS College of Engineering and Technology library is fully air-conditioned and has a total environment for proper study/ reading. Smart card system has also been introduced for the students and faculty in order to provide the total status regarding availability of any book in the library. The library is fully equipped with computer, internet, printing and reprographic services for easy access of the students.

Wi Fi and Microsoft Certified Campus

Our whole campus is enabled with Wi Fi High speed internet connectivity technology. All the equipments are connected with On Line UPS for providing better services. Our campus is also certified by the Microsoft IT Academy. The team of Microsoft Certified Professional conduct regular classes for Microsoft certified courses to enhance Professional Skill of the students for better job opportunities. They also provide IT related solutions to the students and faculty.

Computer Labs

We take pride in our air-conditioned state of the art computer lab which have best infrastructure any where. In the view of the growing demand for IT and systems professionals, the computer center of the Institute is well equipped with computers ranging from PC-XT machines to Pentium and up-to-date laboratories of the department are :

These laboratories are interconnected to facilitate data transfer and information exchange. The CYBER LAB at the computer center facilitates the students of the college to avail unlimited access to the internet to keep abreast with the latest developments in the world. All necessary peripherals are made available at the center.

Pharmacy Labs

The Institute has got well-developed pharmaceutical labs for the Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacogonosy and Pharmacology with the sophisticated equipments including UV Spectrophotometer, FTIR, HPLC etc. The college provides all the facilities for conducting practical as per various norms. The various laboratories being run independently in the college are :

Cultural Activities
The management is committed to provide healthy environment to enrich mental, spiritual cultural and physical potentialities of the student. To inculcate spirit among BISTIANS, Periodic cultural functions are organized in the institute VIRASAT MELA & YOUTH FESTIVAL of PTU from time to time.

Canteen & Resort

B.I.S. Group has spacious canteen, at the canteen, dishing out menus are highly popular among students as well as staff. Students enjoy their food in the clean, well maintained, aesthetic and appetizing atmosphere. Kitchen staff takes care to provide the students and staff a nutritious ad hygienic food at our campus canteens. Students are free to design the menus on a request to the principal/ staff warden.

A resort centre to resort students includes a large screen television, DVD player, café tables, and delightful walking path on acres of land- perfect for morning strolls.

Banking

The ATM of the Punjab and National Bank is in- housed in the premises of the building which provides round the clock ATM facility in the campus. This facility is availed by the students and staff of the college. On enrollment, every student can open an account with bank and can make full use of banking services, Internet Banking and A.T.M. facilities.
