Infrastructure Facilities at Bharathiar University: School of Distance Education:

Library:

• The University has provided a library which is 11,750 sq feet and has 300 seating capacity.
• Photocopying Facilities is also available in the library.

Library Resources:

University Travel Desk:

• The University has provided a travel desk facility.
• The function of the travel desk is to help students and faculties with national and international air ticket booking, railway booking and bus booking.

Internet Centre:

• The University has established an Internet Centre which comes in handy in various needs.
• The students can browse the internet and check their electronic mails.
• The Centre can also be used to download research and course material.
• The students can communicate with the companies through e-mail regarding their project work and subject related queries.
• The students can also update their knowledge in trends of the latest technical fields.

Fitness Centre:

• The University has also provided a fitness center which focusses on physical fitness, weight reduction, and bodybuilding. 
• Modern weight machines like nine station gym for upper extremity and six stations multigym for lower extremity for pull-down, peck deck, arm curl, Abdominal crunch are provided.
• Other equipment like Tread Mill, Bicycle Ergometer, rolling machine are also available to develop the aerobic fitness.
