Facilities :-

Library

1. The Library services shall be available during the college hours on all working days. Any deviation in the schedule shall be notified separately from time to time.
2. The library has an open shelf system. Students can ask for the books they require indicating the title and the author of the book or they can make a choice of their own.
3. Reference books and other reference material is consulted by the pupil teachers within the library while other books, a maximum of two at a time, are issued for a maximum of 7 days.
4. The library also subscribes to a large number of periodicals, magazines, and Newspapers.
5. Borrowers shall be responsible for safe custody of the books they borrow from the library. In case of any damage, the last borrower shall be held responsible for the damage done to the book and he/she will be fined and may be asked to replace the book.
6. Loss of the library-cum-identity card should be intimated to the librarian without any delay otherwise the student concerned shall be held responsible if any other person gets a book issued on it. Before a student leaves, he/she will have to return all the library books with him/her in order to obtain the No Dues certificate from the library.

Computer Lab  

The College has Computer Laboratory to give a boost to information technology. It has state of art Pentium computers printers where the trainees are trained to use the latest technology to update their knowledge. The internet facilities are also being added to enable the students and teachers retrieve knowledge available from any where for human development.

Audio and Visual Lab .The college has well equipped educational technology having equipment like, over-head projector, tape recorder, video camera etc. The equipment is used to produce indigenous teaching/learning material like transparencies, charts, graphs, Audio-visual aids to be used for teaching and delivering aids to be used for teaching and delivering lectures.

Girls Hostel       

The hostel for girls is located within the premises of the college, enclosed by compound wall and under the vigil of security guards at the gate round the clock to ensure security. The boarders have the facilities of attached toilets, fitted with geysers, a good dining hall, mess, girls common room for the stay and relaxation of girls students.

The girls hostel block, has its own amenities of ultra modern life. The college building area is pollution free, with lawns and decorated with ornamental plants, flowers and greenery all around for its beautification and charm.

Boys Hostel       

Baba Farid College of Education provides separate boys hostel within the campus. The rooms are spacious, well – lit and are well furnished. The hostel are provided with sufficient facility for academic upgradation of the students. The hostel mess provides clean and hygienically prepared food and pure and safe drinking water to the students by a reverse osmosis water purification system. The hostels also have recreation rooms with T.V. Newspapers, Magazines and indoor sports. Thus, the hostel by every means proves to be a home away form home.

Canteen              

Light refreshments are available at the college canteen at reasonable rates fixed by the College authorities from time to time. Students are advised to maintain decorum in the canteen and not to buy things on credit. Vandalism in any form will invite severe penalties.

Transport           

Baba Farid College of Education provides the bus facility for the students. This bus route and the charges varies according to the need and demand of the students..

Sports  

Games and Sports form an integral part of education and a great deal of emphasis is laid on this aspect in the College. The College provides facilities for discipline of games and sports. Opportunities are given to the students to develop their all round personality and proficiency in games and sports beside developing physical fitness, stamina and mental toughness.

Playground occupies part of the campus, not separating the college students from the school children. The common access favours a friendly condition for both the school and college students to play together. In other words, every play is training to our college students, since it is a play with the school children. The age-old campus with facilities for all games is a special feature of the college.
