AWH Engineering College has an independent placement office focused to cater to the needs of leading organizations in conducting campus interviews for the final year students of AWH Engineering College. It is headed by a senior professor with additional charge and supported by a fulltime, permanent placement coordinator. The office is assisted by student representatives from various branches of study. The placement office ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality to the HR team from various companies.

The placement office functions with facilities for PPT, written test, group discussions and interviews. It plays a key role in career counseling and guiding of students of AWH Engineering College for their successful career placement.This includes advising the students on placement procedures, directing them on resume preparation,giving training in group discussions, interviews and written tests. This office also co-ordinates the various activities related to institute-industry interaction.

AWH Engineering College has a Campus Placement HUB of Malabar(CAPHUM)to cater to the placement needs of the self financing engineering colleges in Malabar.

The Training and Placement Cell of AWH Engineering College, Calicut was established on July 1st 2003. The cell plays a key role in counseling, guiding and training the students of the college for their successful career.

The objective of the cell is to create a pool of competent techno-managerial personnel for India’s infrastructure sector.

The training and placement cell bridges the gap between the acclaimed academicians and the Global scenario of the MNCs.

Right from the inception of the B.Tech course, the students are given an opportunity to think and grow globally. They are educated on soft skills and life skills. The training and placement cell conducts programs which helps the students to become more professional and highly competent in their performance.

The placement cell is headed with a senior professor with additional charge and supported by full time placement co-ordinator. The office is assisted with a team of efficient faculty and student representatives from all disciplines. The placement office caters to the needs of the H.R. team from various organizations.

The College has a tie-up with Infosys called ‘Campus Connect’ for which a memorandum has been signed between Infosys and the Principal of AWH Engineering College for a period of 3 years commencing from 2012. Through this active interaction between AWH students, staff and faculty and Infosys are envisaged.

Campus recruitments are conducted by leading multinational organizations, IT majors such as Infosys Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, IBS, CTS, L & T, Satyam and the like are some of the companies in the forefront of recruiting non-IT personnel for IT jobs. We can be proud of the fact that most of our students of the pre-final and final year students are placed in the Top IT majors with a handsome pay packet of 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum.

Placements are scheduled to commence by the first week of February of the Pre-final year students.

    Placement officers meet often to co-ordinate placement activities

    Pre-final year students are asked to register in the placement cell

    Resumes are collected and formatted to the requirements of the MNCse

    The list of students who meet the eligibility criteria are sent to the responding companies upon request
