Avantika University Application Criteria

Eligible students can apply online for various courses for Avantika University admission 2020. Applications to this university are invited through online mode only. 

B.Des

• 10+2 from any stream (from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam)
• 50% aggregate in all subjects
• Proficiency in English
• Valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (Entrance Exam + Studio Test)
• DAT is jointly conducted by Avantika University, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design (MIT-ID), Pune

M.Des

• Graduate of any stream (10+2+3 Minimum)
• 50% aggregate in all subjects
• Proficiency in English
• Valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (Entrance Exam + Studio Test)

 B.Tech

• 10+2 (from any of the State Boards/CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam) with Physics, English, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
• 60% aggregate in the subject group Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Vocational Subject
• 50% in English
• Valid score of JEE or any state entrance examination

Note : Submit the online application form with application fee and all relevant enclosures. Shortlisted candidates will appear for personal interview (Online/Offline)

DAT - Design Aptitude Test 2020

For admission to various programmes at Avantika University, candidates must appear for an entrance test called Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The university also accepts national-level entrance exams such as JEE or any State Entrance Exam score. All programmes under the University demand a valid score in the Design Aptitude Test. The minimum eligibility required to apply for DAT 2020 is a pass in 10+2 level with subjects such as Science, Commerce or Arts from PUC, CBSE or ISC or equivalent board. Details regarding the aptitude test of Avantika University are as follows.

Registration for DAT 2020

• Register for DAT online.
• An automated verification link will be sent to your registered Email ID. Activate your account by clicking the link.
• Provide the required details in the application form.
• Upload the passport size photograph, accept the declaration, and submit the online application form.
• Proceed to payment option and pay Rs 3000 for Indian applicants and Rs 4500 for NRI, PIO, CIO, and Foreign Nationals.

Mode of Payment

• Online Payment through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
• Demand Draft in favour of MIT ADT University-MIT Institute of Design.

Note: On scrutiny, verification, and acceptance of application form, Admit card will be generated and sent to candidates registered email id. Candidates can also download the Admit Card by login to his/ her profile on DAT portal.

Studio Test and Interview

The studio tests followed by personal interviews will be conducted separately by MIT Insitute of Design Pune and Avantika University Ujjain. The list of shortlisted candidates for the Studio Test and Personal Interview will be announced on the respective websites of MIT ID Pune and Avantika University Ujjain. All those candidates called for the studio test and personal interview are required to attend the studio tests and interview, which completes the process of selection. Students should carry drawing, cutting-pasting and colouring material (colour pencil), crayons, stapler, scissors and a glue stick. • You are expected to reach the university campus on the specified date and time.
• You should carry your ID proof, hall ticket, and a copy of the DAT result.

Avantika University Admission 

At the UG level, the university offers full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program of four-year time duration, and the management science courses Bachelor Of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) of three year duration.Final selection is done on the basis of Statement of Purpose (SOP), Video and AST along with 10th, 10+2, and JEE Main/ State entrance exam. Upon acceptance of form, the candidate needs to send a self-recorded video of the maximum duration of 120 seconds. 

Avantika University Eligibility

The candidates should have passed 10+2 (from any of the State Boards/CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam) with Physics, English, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, 60% aggregate in the subject group Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Vocational Subject, 50% in English, Valid score of JEE or any state entrance examination.

Avantika University B.Des and M.Des Admission 

Avantika University offers Bachelor of Design (B.Des) of four-year time duration for the candidates pursuing their career in Design. At the Master’s level, the university offers Master of Design (M.Des) for a duration of two-year in three specializations. Candidates seeking admission to Design programs are invited to appear in DAT (Design Aptitude Test) conducted by Avantika University, Ujjain, and MIT Institute of Design, Pune. Final selection is done on the basis of DAT score, Studio Test Score, and 10th and 10+2 performance. The decision of selection for Studio Test will be taken on the basis of DAT scores. Applications will be accepted online only.

Avantika University B.Des and M.Des Eligibility

For B.Des: 

The minimum requrement is 10+2 from any stream (from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam), 50% aggregate in all subjects, Proficiency in English, Valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (Entrance Exam + Studio Test), DAT is jointly conducted by Avantika University, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design (MIT-ID), Pune

For M.Des:

The minimum eligibility is Graduation from any stream (10+2+3 Minimum), 50% aggregate in all subjects, Proficiency in English, Valid score of MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (Entrance Exam + Studio Test).

Tips For A Successful Admission
