• 75% attendance is mandatory for students to appear for examinations.

• Theft, ragging or display of obscene behaviour at Amity University, Mumbai will lead to suspension ranging from 3 weeks to 1 month.
• Violence, Use of weapons, misbehaviour, gambling, use of alcohol, discrimination of sorts, disruption of academic functioning etc., may lead to rustication for up to 2 semesters.
• Violation of Hostel rules are also dealt with severity which may result in cancellation of scholarships.

Students expect a high package as the initial investments at Amity University, Mumbai towards course and hostel do not measure up to the final outcome. 

Around 99% of students have received internships through the placement assistance cell with stipend of INR 10,000 monthly. Some of the companies which grace the campus for recruitment are HDFC, TCS, Tata, ICICI, Amazon etc. Many have hinted at the lack of opportunities to the University being in a nascent stage. Amity University, Mumbai is located 10 kms from the Panvel station, with limited access to eateries outside of campus. However, the on-campus cafeteria operates from 8 AM to 8 PM, and serves delectable dishes for breakfast, lunch, high-tea and dinner.
