The CFA courses syllabus is divided into three levels: Level I, Level II, Level III. CFA subjects include economics, Portfolio Management, Corporate finance, the Professional and Ethical standard of business.The candidate must clear all the levels conducted by the CFA Institute, Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3 respectively.
The CFA Level I exam contains 240 multiple choice questions and the time duration is 6 hours. This exam is conducted twice a year, one conducted in the month of June and the other in the month of December. The Level II exam is conducted once a year in the month of June and it consists of 120 multiple choice questions under 21 mini case studies. The final Level III exam consists of both essay and multiple choice questions which is graded by some of the topmost expertise in the field with at most care. These exams are designed to equip the candidates to various CFA jobs.
