Unit 1 - Diversity of Living Organisms

The first unit of the UP Board class 11 Biology syllabus, covers 7 marks from topics such as the living world, biological classification, plant kingdom and animal kingdom. The table below showcases the chapters under each sub-topic.

Unit 3 of the UP Board class 11 Biology syllabus consists of 15 marks with chapters on the cell, the unit of life, biomolecules and cell cycle and division.

The practical UP Board class 11 Biology syllabus 2023-24 will typically contain two sections. First, a list of experiments, which students must practise, and second the study and observation of specific biological components.
