Jagran Lakecity University (JLU) is amongst the most accorded Universities of India. On May 22, 2021, the University will hold its Entrance Test (JLUET). The 12th Board Exams got postponed and now, it is uncertain when they might be conducted or if they would be conducted at all. As a result, JLU has remodeled the admission process and made it through JLUET in order to ensure consistency in the transition to higher education. It is a centralized admission and scholarship test that is used to evaluate candidates for all courses at the university. The deadline for registering for the online exam is May 17th, 2021 and the results for the same will be declared on 25th May 2021.
JLUET is divided into two parts and is specifically designed to test students' aptitude and knowledge so that exceptional students can get a seat at the university even before they sit for their 12th boards. The first section accounts for 60% of the overall marks for JLUET. The test consists of a multiple-choice question (MCQ)-based aptitude test with three sections: subject knowledge, general awareness, and logical reasoning. The second portion of the JLUET consists of a face-to-face interview with the acceptance jury, which accounts for 40% of the overall points. The sum of both scores will be the final score.
It goes without saying that "Success comes to those who start early and work tirelessly to achieve their goals,”. Likewise, one of the most important attributes of any successful candidate is quick and well-thought-out decision-making, and the JLUET initiative gives an advantage to the future's fast thinkers and trailblazers. JLU thinks that just because board examinations are unpredictable does not mean that students' futures should be as well. As a result, the University is taking proactive measures by administering their own admission exam to evaluate applicants and ensure that they get admitted to the program of their choice.” Vice-Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University, Dr. Sandeep Shastri, says
The three-hour JLUET will be held online on May 22, 2021, and will serve as a gateway to a variety of university U.G. courses. Design, Law, Management & Commerce, Journalism, UI/UX, BA, BBA, Economics, B.Tech, B.Com Hospitality, Public Policy, Psychology, Entertainment & Events, English Literature, and many other fields are covered by these courses. The scholarship program has also been redesigned to include JLUET scores in addition to those from other national-level entrance exams. According to the university, the top 12.8 percent of students will be eligible for up to 100 percent tuition fee scholarships from a total scholarship corpus of Rs. 2.5 crore.
Some rounds of JLUET will be held by the university, with tentative dates of 26th June, 24th July, and 14th August 2021, and application deadlines of 22nd June, 19th July, and 9th August 2021, respectively. To apply for JLUET, students need to fill the university admission application form by attaching all documents and completing all mandatory fields. While filling the form, students need to select the JLUET 2021 date of their choice. After successfully submitting the application form, the university admission team shall send the JLUET Admit Card to the registered email ID two days before the selected date.
Even though JLUET is a multifaceted test for admission to a variety of fields, the Deans and Heads of the corresponding Faculties and Schools of Jagran Lakecity University have been holding live interactive sessions to explain the testing system and dispel the doubts of potential test-takers. On JLU's Zoom and Facebook pages, these one-hour sessions are streamed live. The university held live webinars with deans and heads of departments from six diverse fields to discuss exam structure, syllabus, query forms, and other related topics. Personal interview rounds, selection requirements, grants, and planning tips are among the topics covered in the session.
