Spectra 2026, held from February 4th to 6th, 2026, showcased a dynamic synergy between cultural vibrancy and academic excellence. While the main stage pulsed with energy, the various schools of Birla Global University (BGU) organized specialized departmental activities that challenged the intellect and professional skills of over 500+ participants.
The YOLO Flea - Spectra 2k26
At the centre of the hustling Spectra 2k26, Birla Global University celebrated the third edition of The YOLO Flea, a three-day student-driven carnival from 4 to 6 February 2026. The flea witnessed an enthused participation of students from various disciplines, selling an array of cuisines, beverages, accessories and jewelry. The carnival was more than just a colorful spectacle - it was testimony to the entrepreneurial skills and creative potential of the students of the University. The YOLO Flea remained a "grand success," acting as a carnival of creativity. Student-led stalls reported high engagement and impressive profits, showcasing the practical business side of the fest.

Unfiltered – Reel Making Competition (04 February 2026)
The Birla School of Communication organized “Unfiltered”, a reel-making competition aimed at promoting creativity and artistic expression among students. Participants selected color-based themes through a chit system and created reels using their mobile phones within a stipulated time. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both BGU and other institutions, encouraging inter-university engagement. Wi-Fi facilities and necessary support were provided to ensure smooth execution of the competition. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three teams, and winners were allowed to attend Star Night as part of SPECTRA 2026. The event concluded successfully with vibrant participation and creative showcases.

Campus Carnage 2.0 – eSports Competition (04 February 2026)
Campus Carnage 2.0 was organized by the Birla School of Applied Sciences as an eSports competition featuring BGMI. The event provided a competitive platform for students to demonstrate their gaming skills, teamwork, and strategic thinking abilities. A total of 27 teams participated, and the competition was conducted through elimination rounds followed by final matches. Participants used their own devices, and technical arrangements were ensured for uninterrupted gameplay. Winners and runners-up were awarded cash prizes along with trophies and goodies. The event created an atmosphere of excitement and healthy competition among students.

Voice of World Economy (04 February 2026)
Voice of the World Economy Birla School of Economics was a dynamic debate competition focused on modern economic challenges. The event brought together 30 Participants from various university providing a high-energy platform for students to display their strategic thinking and collaborative skills. Through intense rounds of discourse, participants engaged in a spirit of healthy and exciting competition. It successfully bridged academic theory with practical application, fostering a vibrant atmosphere for all involved.

B-Quiz (04 February 2026)
The Birla School of Commerce hosted "B-Quiz," a high-energy competition headlined by its intense, rapid-fire rounds. Participants were challenged on their knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and the latest details of the Union Budget 2026-2027. The event’s atmosphere was electric, showcasing the impressive speed and precision of the top-performing teams. This event successfully combined academic rigor with a fast-paced competitive spirit.

Case – CQM (04 February 2026)
The Birla School of Management hosted "Case CQM," a premier competition centered on high-level case study presentations. Participants tackled complex organizational hurdles, pitching their strategic solutions to a panel of industry experts. The event served as a rigorous test of the students' ability to merge theoretical management frameworks with innovative, real-world applications. Clash of Rhythm – Group Dance Competition (04 February 2026)
Clash of Rhythm was a group dance competition organized to promote teamwork, coordination, and artistic creativity among students. Teams from BGU and other institutions participated, presenting diverse dance styles and themes. Each performance adhered to prescribed time limits and competition guidelines. Participants designed and brought their own autonomous robots to compete on a predefined track. The competition was conducted in two structured rounds to evaluate speed, precision, and efficiency. Students from BGU and other institutions actively participated, showcasing their engineering and problem-solving skills. Golden Aria – Solo Singing Competition (05 February 2026)
Golden Aria was conducted as part of the Main Stage Events of SPECTRA 2026 to encourage musical talent and stage confidence among students. The evening of the second day concluded with a spectacular Ramp Walk, where fashion met storytelling, and a high-octane DJ Night that celebrated the collective spirit of the participants.

Grand felicitation and Artist performance (06 February 2026)
The final day of SPECTRA 2026 reached a spectacular crescendo, blending deep gratitude with high-energy celebration. The evening honored the backbone of the festival, featuring a grand felicitation for the sponsors and Student Organizing Committee whose vital support turned ambitious visions into reality. Following the honors, the atmosphere electrified as the headline artist took the stage, delivering a high-octane performance that left the crowd spellbound.
