Shoolini University takes No.1 Position in Environmental Sciences, and No.5 in Chemistry & Biological Sciences in QS ranking.
Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences has garnered international recognition by achieving outstanding positions in the QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2024. The institution has been ranked among the top universities worldwide for the study of three subjects. This prestigious acknowledgment highlights Shoolini's dedication to pushing the boundaries of academic and research excellence, further solidifying its role as a premier global institution for higher education.
The university proudly ranks in the 401–450 band worldwide for Environmental Sciences, taking the top spot as the No.1 Private University in India for this discipline and 13th overall. In Chemistry, Shoolini has climbed to the 551-600 global band, making it the fifth joint top private university in India and 22nd joint overall. Moreover, in Biological Sciences, it stands within the 601-650 global band, also ranked as the fifth joint private university in India and 18th joint overall.
This year marks Shoolini University's impressive debut in the QS rankings for Environmental Sciences and Biological Sciences, along with a significant improvement in Chemistry from the previous 601-630 band to the current 551-600 band.
Chancellor Prof PK Khosla credits this remarkable success to the collective efforts of the university’s faculty, researchers, and students. He praised the academic environment that promotes significant global impact. “Together, we have built a robust ecosystem of excellence that extends beyond geographical limits,” he noted.
Pro Chancellor Vishal Anand emphasised the continuous commitment to enhancing research and educational practices, aiming to generate substantial societal benefits. "We remain dedicated to nurturing a setting that supports intensive learning, research, and collaborative efforts," he stated.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla expressed his pride in the university's exceptional achievements, particularly noting their commitment to critical areas like sustainability, environmental issues, and energy resources.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 evaluates over 16,400 university programs across 55 disciplines using a variety of metrics such as academic reputation, citations per publication, and H-index, ensuring a thorough and transparent review process.
