A two-day researcher conclave 'Shodh Prayas' was organized at Jaipur-based Vivekananda Global University (NAAC A+) from Friday.In this program, more than 2500 research papers were presented and original research papers were submitted on multiple subjects.
A two-day researcher conclave 'Shodh Prayas' was organized at Jaipur-based Vivekananda Global University (NAAC A+) on Friday. In this program, more than 2500 research papers were presented and original research papers were submitted on subjects like Indian knowledge tradition, social development, and community justice, sustainable development etc. More than 100 subject experts also participated in this program, through whom the intricacies of research papers related to various subjects were discussed.
V Sarvana Kumar (Secretary and Commissioner of the Department of Science and Technology) was present as the chief guest in this two-day conclave. Kumar in his address said that scientific research related to science and technology is important because it helps us understand how things work. Furthermore, it further develops various fields of study, such as biology, chemistry, psychology, medicine and other fields. Furthermore, scientific research helps in solving problems that already exist and new problems that may arise in the future. He appreciated the vision of Vivekananda Global University and said that the name of the University is absolutely appropriate and the University is a pioneer in helping society with education. He also pointed out that publishing research papers is not an easy task and praised VGU for participating in research activities.
Speaking at the event, University CEO Mr. Omkar Bagaria said that VGU has so far published more than 200 patents, out of which more than 30 patents have been granted.
In his address, Vice Chairperson of the University, Dr. K. R. Bagaria said that teaching, learning, research and discovering new things are in the hands of all people and this can be possible with everyone's support. Discoveries increase a person's knowledge and provide him with new paths. On the second day of the research effort, the undergraduate students as well as faculty members presented their research papers in front of the subject experts, in which the subject experts highlighted the quality of the research paper and the vision of its writing. The purpose behind such an event is that apart from teachers and researchers in the university, other students also understand the importance of research and work for it.
At the end of the program, VGU Registrar Praveen Kumar Chaudhary expressed his gratitude towards all the guests present in the auditorium as well as the teachers and students of the university. During this, he explained the importance of research and said that research develops many new procedures and products. Research brings depth and subtlety to various aspects of knowledge. Research provides the basis for almost all government policies in our economic system. Through research, we can provide a new direction to the country and in this sequence, every year VGU organizes an academic festival in the name of 'Shodh Prayas'.
