Parul University secures a hat-trick victory as Overall Champion at the 39th AIU Inter-University West Zone Youth Festival, excelling across music, fine arts, dance, literary, and theatre events.
Vadodara-based Parul University has once again proved its cultural excellence by winning the overall championship title at the 39th AIU Inter-University West Zone Youth Festival for the third consecutive year, thereby achieving a milestone in music, literature, dance, theatre, and fine arts competitions.
The youth festival saw the participation of various universities from the West Zone of the country. Parul University emerged as the Overall Champion in Music, Fine Arts, and Cultural Procession while also securing the Overall Second Position in Literary events, Dance, and the Overall Third Position in Theatre, and reflecting its strong all-round performance.
In the music category, the university won first place in Classical Vocal Solo, Classical Instrumental Solo (Percussion), Classical Instrumental Solo (Non-Percussion), Light Vocal Indian, Group Song Indian, Group Song Western, and Folk Orchestra. Followed by winning 2nd prize in Western Instrumental Solo and 3rd prize in Western Vocal Solo. In the literary category, the team achieved 1st position in General Quiz, 2nd position in Hindi Debate, 4th position in English Debate, 3rd position in English Elocution, and 5th position in Hindi Elocution. In the theatre events, the university bagged 2nd position in Mimicry and Mime, as well as 4th position in One-Act Play and Skit. In the dance competitions, students won 1st position in Folk Dance, 2nd position in Classical Dance, and 3rd position in Creative Choreography. The fine arts team added to the success by winning 1st position in On-the-Spot Painting and Poster Making, 2nd position in Cartooning, 3rd position in Collage Making, and 4th position in Clay Modelling and Rangoli.
This achievement was a result of an incredible amount of hard work, dedication, and effort from the students. The students worked tirelessly for several months, went through extremely intense practice, long nights of rehearsing, committed to performing their best and succeeded. This success was possible with the help of dedicated mentors and teamwork, which turned all the hard work into victory, while upholding the university’s continued tradition of excellence and creativity.
