The four-day annual mega fest ‘Panache 24’ organized at Vivekananda Global University, concluded on Saturday evening with an awards ceremony and celebrity night live show. The chief guest in the program, the country's famous and emerging comedy queen Gurleen Pannu, created a lot of comedy with her sharp humor and acting style and made the audience laugh by adding a touch of entertainment and satire.
On this occasion, VGU Chairperson and former IAS Dr. Lalit K. Panwar, VGU Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eng. Onkar Bagaria distributed trophies and cash to the students, teachers, and staff who won various competitions organized in the 'Panash 24 event.
Speaking on the occasion, VGU Chairperson Dr. Lalit K. Panwar said that such events provide a platform to young minds to showcase their innovative ideas, talent, and skills. He said that the youth should use their knowledge and technical skills for social welfare and humanity.
Underlining the importance of organizing such student-centric events, VGU Chief Executive Officer ((CEO) Eng. Onkar Bagaria said that PANACHE is a cultural-cum sports annual festival that showcases the talents and dreams of the youth at VGU and nurtures and shapes the university. The University is always committed to the holistic development of the students. He thanked all the participants including all the faculty and staff for making the event an unprecedented success.
The occasion awards ceremony event saw awards in various categories like Overall Rolling Trophy, Best Team, Highest Participation, Best Discipline, and 9 Best Category Trophies along with cash prizes totaling Rs 200,000 distributed by the guests to the winners of the competitions. The four-day annual festival featured more than 50 events with participation from more than 100 teams and 50,000 participants.
