The much-awaited annual festival ‘Panache 2024’ got off to a colorful and spectacular start on Wednesday at Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jagatpura.

In the various competitions organized on the first day, the participants showed immense enthusiasm and passion in displaying their skills and art. The atmosphere of the campus seems to be drenched in festive colors.
The chief guest at the inaugural session of the mega fest was Mr. Bal Mukund Acharya, MLA from Hawamahal assembly constituency. On this occasion, dignitaries including the University Chairperson and retired IAS Dr Lalit K. Panwar and University Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shri Onkar Bagaria were present.
In his address, Shri Acharya described the contribution of youth as important in building a strong India and said that our glorious diverse culture, art, and unity in diversity make us a world leader. Sanatan Dharma always gives the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam encompassing the objectives of the interests of the entire society.
Acharya ji said that in this grand festival, the way students from different states displayed their colorful costumes and their art culture on one stage, a glimpse of a mini India was visible on the campus. I am overwhelmed by this and also congratulate the university management for this.
On this occasion, University Chairperson and retired IAS Dr. Lalit K Panwar in his address said that VGU is committed to the overall character and cultural development of the students along with studies. Motivating the students to achieve their goals, he said that hard work and determination are necessary to achieve success in life and there is no shortcut to success. There is a need to identify one's field and work honestly in it.
CEO of VGU University Eng. Onkar Bagaria said that this great festival is a unique confluence of knowledge, science, and art. Such events provide a better platform for young talents to showcase their skills and talents. Also, we have to know and cherish the different cultures of different states of the country. He said that due to the increasing popularity of BGU's Annual Fest, the number of contestants is also increasing every year. With this in mind, competitions have been made more competitive, creative, innovative, and interesting.
The program started with the Ethnic Walk event on the first day in which the students showcased the cultural diversity of the country and showcased their artistic skills by showcasing various traditional costumes from different states of the country. At the same time, teacher members of all the departments also took part in the ethnic walk in the costumes of different states. In various competitions organized on the first day, students along with teachers and staff showed immense enthusiasm and passion in showcasing their talents, skills, and art in various competitions.
During this four-day long festival, there will be a lot of exciting and enjoyable cultural events and competitions. There will be many interesting and tough competitions to win the competitions. Students will also enjoy cultural and entertainment programs daily.
In this great confluence of technical, educational, cultural, and diverse sports events full of entertainment and thrill, about 50 events will be held for four days, in which more than 100 teams and more than 5000 participants are taking part.
