Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University under the scanner

The Rajasthan Government is in a state of flux as news about fake degrees has been pouring in followed by many inquiries. However, the government has no say in this as the powers are vested with the Centre or UGC. The government has taken up this news to the Centre and hopes the Union HRD ministry takes quick action. As many as nine Universities are under scanning for issuing fake mark sheets and backdated degrees. Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University, Udaipur is under the scanner for giving out fake degrees. Meanwhile, the government will look into the issue and take steps to resolve it.The colleges have not yet responded to this issue. An official said, "The government received complaints that these universities have issued fake certificates. We have ordered an inquiry by a four-membered committee."

Pacific University provides education in diverse fields of Engineering, Management, Dentistry, Art, Law, M.Phil and Ph.D. Programs in various disciplines.The group today has a composite strength of 15,000 students and 500 faculty members.
