How to Apply for Odisha +2 First Year Admissions in 2026?

Students who have passed the Odisha 10th board can apply for Odisha +2 First Year admissions 2026 by performing the steps given below:

• Step 1: Visit the official website samsodisha.gov.in. 
• Step 2: Click on the 'Higher Secondary School' link on the homepage.
• Step 3: Click on the 'New Student Register' link on the following page, and enter 'Student's name,' 'Mobile Number,' and 'email ID' to create an account. 
• Step 4: Generate OTP and log in using your credentials. 
• Step 5: Complete the application form and submit the fee through the available payment modes.
• Step 6: Finally, submit the application form.
• Step 7: Download the application form and receipt of the fee payment for future reference.

Candidates applying for admission must also pay an application fee and complete the application forms. SC/ST students applying for admissions must submit an application fee of INR 100/-, while the students from the General category must submit an application fee of INR 200/-.

What is the Process for Odisha +2 First Year Admissions 2026?

The Odisha +2 First Year admissions 2026 are being conducted by the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) through its admission portal. The admission procedure for the same is given below:

• Upon the closure of the Common Application Form registration period, SAMS Odisha will compile a merit list of eligible candidates.
• This merit list is formulated based on various factors, including the marks obtained in the 10th standard examination, consideration of weightage, and adherence to reservation criteria (if applicable).
• Candidates who are selected for admission to Class 11 in Odisha will be required to access their Intimation Letter from their SAMS e-Space Login. This letter will specify the Higher Secondary School (HSS) where they have been allotted admission, along with the designated date and time for the admission process.
• Upon receiving the Intimation Letter, applicants must ensure that they bring all original documents as stipulated in the letter for verification purposes at the designated Higher Secondary School.
• In addition to document verification, selected candidates must also remit the necessary admission fees to confirm their enrollment and secure their seats in the desired course of study.
