Being a Global Center for Grooming Leaders, the National HRD Network (NHRDN) aids in promoting the People Development movement and helps in enhancing the HR professionals’ capability to handle the global competition by means of education, training, experience sharing, and research.
The Flagship program of NHRD Bhubaneswar- Zenith, in its 6th year has created a framework for recognizing and rewarding contributors towards Human Resources in the Eastern Region. The theme for Zenith 6th edition organized on 7th Feb 2020 was “HR in the world of Artificial Intelligence”. 60 delegates from various hospitals, hotels, corporates, and academic institutions attended the event.
The Welcome address for the session was given by Dr.Santanu Rath, President, NHRDN, Bhubaneswar chapter. The event was then addressed by panelists comprising of Mr.Sudhir Kumar Jaiswal, President and CEO, ESSPL; Ms. Soumya Mohapatra, Group Manager, Unit Strategy, Planning, and Operation and D&I BSSR Centre, Infosys and Mr. Ipsit Mishra, Director of Artificial Intelligence, Tech Mahindra. The moderators for the session was Dr. Saroj K Mahapatra, Director, KSOM and life member of NHRDN, Bhubaneswar Chapter.
The Confidence Building activity session was carried out Post lunch and was conducted by Dr. Shradha Padhi, Professor KSOM & Secretary NHRDN, Bhubaneswar Chapter. Later on HR articles on the topic “Role of AI in HR” were received from different Business Schools as a part of the competitions conducted during the event. The first and second places were both bagged by KSOM students Kousambi Kumar and Praise Chacko respectively.
KSOM from Odisha received top honors with two other B-Schools in a National Level ranking of B-Schools.
