Access and Login
- Use your CET application or QR code, or face authentication for accessing it.
- Payment of a non-refundable fee (approx. INR 750) may be required to enable it.
Entering and Modifying Choices
- Even after earlier rounds, the authorities allow fresh option entry. You will be able to add new preferences if you didn’t get a seat earlier.
- You can modify or delete existing options, based on the availability of seats and your counselling plan.
- Make sure that you “save” and “lock” your choices before the deadline to participate in the seat allotment process. If not done so, the system will lock any remaining options.

KCET 2025 second extended round seat allotment process includes provisional seat allotment, final seat allotment, fee payment, and reporting to the allotted colleges. The steps are explained in detail below:
Provisional Seat Allotment
- After the option entry closes, KEA publishes a Provisional Seat Allotment, mainly in early October.
- You can review your allotment and either raise objections to it or choose to confirm it.
Final Allotment & Fee Payment
- Once any objections are reviewed and resolved, the Final Seat Allotment will be declared by the authorities on the official website.
- Fee payment is done immediately after downloading the admission order. This will finalize the seat for you in the selected institute.
After Final Allotment
- You need to report to the college to complete the allotment process.
- Once you lose your seat, you will lose the full fee.

- Canceling after the second extended round generally results in losing the total fees.
