What are ITI Stenography Courses?

ITI Stenography course is a one-year non-engineering course offered by ITI. Transcribing spoken words into a stenotype machine, or shorthand typewriter, is the responsibility of a stenographer.

• The ITI stenographer program is part of the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS), run by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship's Directorate General of Training (DGT).
• This course's primary goal is to teach typing abilities, so students need to pick up quick keyboard or typing machine skills quickly. 
• Students will learn to handle files, dispatch registers, and other office paperwork while processing dairy products. In essence, students will learn how to perform office labour.
