Green Innovative Club Inaugurated at PCU Campus on World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day, the PCU campus today witnessed the inauguration of a new initiative, the Green Innovative Club. The club aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainability practices within the college community and beyond.

The inauguration ceremony was held by the blessings and guidance of our honorable trustees.

And in the presence of Dr Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor PCU, Dr Sudeep D. Thepade along with all heads of schools, faculty members, students, and staff.  Dr Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor of PCU delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and lauded initiative in forming the Green Innovative Club. According to her, it is an essential step towards fostering environmental sustainability and responsibility within the academic community. As centers of learning and innovation, universities have a unique opportunity to lead by example in promoting eco-friendly practices

Dr Sudeep D Thepade  PVC, PCU  outlined the Green Innovative Club's vision and mission.

• Organizing workshops and seminars on environmental issues
• Conducting awareness campaigns on sustainability practices
• Initiating campus-wide green projects such as tree plantation drives, waste reduction initiatives, and energy conservation programs
• Encouraging students to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges

Dr Anju Bala, in charge of the Green Innovative Club unveiled of the club's logo and a brief presentation on its upcoming activities so that the university campus can become a model for environmental responsibility, inspiring a generation of sustainability-conscious leaders. Dr Neeru Malik, Member secretory and the club members are enthusiastic about engaging the student body in environmental action and fostering a culture of sustainability on campus.
