The School of Law at GD Goenka University Launches Its Moot Court Hall

The School of Law at GD Goenka University proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art new installation, the Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall, in a grand form held on the university lot.

(Dr.) Ms. Pinky Anand,  Cyber Law expert, Adv. (Dr.) Pavan Duggal, and Mr. A.C Kher, Former DIG (Prison, Tihar Jail)  and AOR, Supreme Court of India. The ceremony was directed by Mrs. Renu Goenka, Hon’ble  Chancellor, GD Goenka University.  

The Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall stands as a testament to the School of Law's commitment to excellence in legal education and provides a remarkable platform for law applicants to hone their chops for the future of law. This state-of-the-art installation boasts a commodious seating capacity of 200 scholars and is equipped with slice-edge amenities. The hall has been strictly designed to replicate an authentic judicial terrain, fostering a conducive atmosphere for undergraduate scholars to prepare, exercise, and present for questionable court competitions. 

One of the highlights of the School of Law's academic timetable is the periodic transnational Chartered Institute of judges (ClArb) Moot Competition, which will now find its prestigious home in the Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall. also, the hall will also host colorful public questionable court competitions, reaffirming its position as an essential foundation of the institution's flagship events. 

Speaking at the induction form, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Dipak Mishra expressed his admiration for the growing demand for the legal profession in India and confided the academy of Law at GD Goenka University for its vital part in shaping the professional identity of law scholars through engaging exertion- grounded literacy. He further emphasized that the recently constructed questionable court hall would really serve as an alleviation and a driving force for scholars to exceed in their legal careers.
