The first ever International Management Conference (IMC) – 2021 on the topic "Re-creating the Future of Work and Business: Challenges, Opportunities and the Path Ahead" was held from 27th – 28th February 2021 at KIIT School of Management, KIIT-DU. Around 350 delegates attended the meeting, including 62 foreign representatives from 15 nations. There were 13 parallel meetings taken by 44 resource people, while a sum of 284 abstracts from researchers from 15 nations were received for the gathering, which occurred in the virtual mode.
Inaugural Session
The inaugural keynote address was conveyed by:
- Prof. Mark Sutton from the University of Edinburgh and UK Center of Ecology, UK
- Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU
- Dr. S. K. Mahapatra, Director, KSOM
- Dr. S. N. Mishra, Dean also spoke on the event.
Prof. Rabi Narayan Subudhi, Convener of the International Conference proposed the statement of gratitude at the inaugural session. Prof. Sumita Mishra was the co-convener of the event.
Valedictory Meeting
Speaking at the valedictory meeting, Dr. S. N. Mishra restated the complete conversations traversing two days. He accentuated the requirement for perpetuity in endeavours like the IMC. KIIT School of Management anticipates hosting IMC 2022 supporting a practice of obligation to research and persistent learning, he added.
IMC 2021 with its multifunctional and worldwide focus was of enormous interest to employees, research scholars, and specialists from around the planet. The conference saw incisive discussions from keynote speakers, session seats and researchers from all across the globe. Papers were presented across the chief functional disciplines of management with a total of 3 technical sessions in 13 virtual rooms.
