HAM-S Leader caught for running the Racket
Six persons were arrested and Hindustani Awam Morcha-Secular (HAM-S) youth wing national president Gyan Prakash was named in a FIR lodged with Kotwali police station on Wednesday for allegedly running a fake certificate racket. Former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi is the HAM-S chief. The police arrested the people who were alleged to be involved in running the fake certificate racket.
Arrest of all those involved in the racket
The six persons who were reported against for running the fake certificate racket were - Harshwardhan Kumar Singh, Mrinal Chakravarty, Tarun Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Kumari Annu and Shailja Kumari. The police arrested these six persons from their office. Their office was being run in the name of National Rural Development Programme. The office was located near Hartali Mor in the city. The office originated Fake certificates of a few prominent universities in India. Some of those universities were Dr. CV Raman University of Chhattisgarh, Swami Vive, Anand University and Mahatma Gandhi University. The six persons and also the stamps and other blank documents were seized from their office. The police also seized the vehicle of Gyan, who the mastermind of the racket. He could not be arrested.
