CCC Course
The computer literacy program was designed on the recommendation of the National Task Force on Information Technology and Software Development. The course was designed to impart a basic IT literacy program for the common man. After completing the course, one will be able to use the skills learned in his/her business, viewing information on the internet, receiving and sending emails, and preparing small databases. The detailed syllabus of CCC is available on the NIELIT website.
The guidance and training for CCC will be given by the institutions approved by the NIELIT for offering the CCC course. Moreover, Aspiring candidates can complete the course in self-learning mode and can apply in the CCC examination.
The overall course duration lasts for 80 hours which consists of fifty hours of practical sessions, five hours of tutorial sessions, and twenty-five hours of theory classes on basic programming and computer technology. The course can be done on a self-learning basis and also via approved NIELIT centers. Let us get to know more about the eligibility criteria to pursue this course.
CCC Course Eligibility Criteria
Since CCC is a basic level course for all types of students, there are no such concrete eligibility criteria for the course. However, some of the basic examination requirements are :
- A student should be an Indian Citizen and should hold a valid identity proof of citizenship
- Students should’ve completed grade 12 from any recognized board.
- For application purposes, students should have the necessary education background details and other certification details.

The syllabus of the course on computer concepts (CCC) is isolated into nine (9) parts. CCC level computer course syllabus or more precisely CCC syllabus 2022 is as follows,

CCC Exam Pattern
The pattern of the course on computer concept (CCC) examination is similar to other exams. The regular CCC exam pattern has evolved through the years and there are some changes in the current examination format. Few points that are important to understand include:
- The paper would be in objective type format.
- This is an online exam and must be given from the official website.
- The total no. of questions on the paper is 100.
- The exam is for a total of 100 marks.
- The duration of the exam is 1 and 1/2 hours (90min).
- The qualifying percentage is 50% (50 Marks).
You can again apply in another exam cycle in case you failed to pass the CCC exam, and if you passed the CCC exam and you want to appear for the exam again then also you can appear in it because there is no limit yet.
