What is the CA Final Examination?
The CA Final is a national-level exam conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) every year. The CA Final is the last step to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). You need to first qualify for the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate examinations to appear for the CA Final papers.

What is the CA Final Eligibility Limit 2026?
The CA Final exam eligibility criteria 2026 state that you must have passed the CA Foundation exam and both groups of the CA Intermediate examination, along with the CA IPCC exam level. Further, you must have registered with the BOS (Board of Studies). There is no maximum or minimum age limit set for the examination. Thus, you can appear for the exam by the time you satisfy the eligibility limit.
In addition, you must have secured a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in total in the CA Intermediate exam and 40% in each paper. Those who will fail to meet the eligibility limit will not be able to appear for the CA Final examination.
What is the CA Final Exam Application Form 2026 Release Date?
The application form for the CA Final exam 2026 for the May session will be released on Mar 3, 2026. The form link will be released by ICAI on the official website in online mode. The last date to register for the examination is scheduled for Mar 16, 2026. However, with submission of late fees, the last date is Mar 19, 2026. Those who will complete their form-filling will be able to download their hall ticket and appear for the examination.
The CA Final form correction window 2026 will be activated from Mar 20 - 22, 2026. The form correction window link will be activated on the official website in online mode. Those who will complete the registration will have the provision to edit some of the changes in their filled-out application form for a limited period of time. Earlier, the form-filling for January session was scheduled from Nov 3 - 16, 2025.
