Government Ayurveda College, [GAC] Thiruvananthapuram, was established in 1889 by the Maharaja of Travancore. It is a pioneer institute of Ayurveda in Kerala. The college provides the best in class education in Ayurveda and the body also provides Ayurvedic treatment in the state of Kerala. The college is managed by the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education [DAME]. This college is named one of the top colleges in Ayurveda in the whole of Asia. 

Here are some of the highlights of the College:

It is for Panchakarma and also women and children care hospital. The college has fully furnished well-modernized labs, discussion hall, and classrooms. The Institution has 14 departments exist and 11 among them have Postgraduate faculty. Many senior faculties have received an invitation as a resource person at the national and international level of conferences. The college is providing separate hostels for both girls and boys. The Institution is offering B.A.M.S, PG, Ph.D., and Para Medical courses.  The college will strictly be done admissions process for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses based on certain eligibility criteria and also college offering all courses in flexible fee structure.
