Factors that Determine CUET Cut-Off 2023 for DU
Several factors determine the DU 6th Cut Off 2023 for CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) for Delhi University (DU). These factors include:
- The number of applicants for CUET plays a significant role in determining the cut-off. If there is a high number of applicants, the competition for admission increases, leading to higher cut-off scores.
- The difficulty level of the CUET exam can impact the cut-off. If the exam is relatively difficult, the cut-off scores may be lower as compared to an easier exam where more candidates score higher marks.
- The number of seats available for admission in the respective course also affects the cut-off. If there are limited seats, the cut-off tends to be higher as the competition among applicants is more intense.
- The previous year's cut-off trends are often considered while determining the current year's cut-off. It helps in understanding the overall competition and setting a benchmark for the admission process.
- The cut-off may vary for different reservation categories such as SC/ST, OBC, EWS, and PWD. Each category may have a separate cut-off based on the respective reservation policies.
- The minimum qualifying marks set by the university for CUET can also impact the cut-off. If the qualifying marks are higher, the cut-off scores are likely to be higher as well.

Admission Process for DU 6th Cut Off 2023
Upon the release of the DU 6th cut-off 2023, applicants need to follow a series of steps to complete the final stages of DU admission.
Step 1: After the Delhi University officials release the cutoff list, candidates should review the eligibility requirements for their chosen programme. It is important to note that different colleges may have different course cutoffs. Subsequently, candidates must log into the student application site, select their preferred course and college, and generate a DU Admission form.
Step 2: The next step involves downloading the admission form and personally visiting the desired institution to submit the form and complete the remaining DU admission process for 2023. Candidates must bring along the original documents along with photocopies, as failure to do so may result in the rejection of the admission form. The following documents should be included:
- Certificate and mark sheet of Class X board examination
- Mark sheet and original certificate or provisional certificate of Class XII.
- Character certificate issued by a Class-1 Gazetted Officer or the Principal of the last attended school.
- SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM category certificate in the applicant's name issued by the relevant authority.
- OBC (Non-creamy layer) category certificate in the applicant's name, mentioning the caste as listed in the central list.
- Transfer certificates and migration certificates for candidates who completed Class 10 outside Delhi.
- Two self-attested passport-size photographs.
- Upon completion of the formalities by candidates, the college principal will approve the application form online, enabling the option for admission fee payment in the candidate's dashboard.
Step 3: Candidates need to log into the student site and proceed with paying the admission fee. The activated admission fee payment link on the student dashboard allows candidates to pay the fees for the academic session. Admission to the college will be considered final and complete once the payment is made.
Step 4: If a candidate wishes to seek admission to another college, they must meet the cutoff criteria set by that college. To complete the admission process for the new college, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:
- First, candidates need to withdraw their admission from the previous college through the online process, including the refund of the paid amount.
- Candidates should obtain a fee cancellation receipt and submit it to the previously admitted college. Additionally, they must collect the original certificates submitted during the previous admission.
- Candidates need to pay the balance fee required by the new college. If any additional fee was paid during the previous admission, the college will reimburse the amount to the candidate's bank account.
