National Essay Olympiad (NESO) 2024

Essay writing scholarship exams are skill-based exams mostly conducted to assist the communication and technical English skills of students. Even today. most of the study abroad entrance exams and university entrance exams have essay writing sections as a part of the eligibility test. Essay writing asses the attitude of the writer, types of word usage, the formation of the sentence, etc.

National Essay Olympiad

To succeed in any essay writing, students must have in-depth knowledge of the subject and should have good writing skills in terms of grammar, sentence formation, and vocabulary skills. National Essay Olympiad (NESO) focuses on training students to meet the advanced level in academic standards and English knowledge. NESO exam is open for students from class 1 to class 10. Essay topics differ for classes, and it includes subjects such as Science, General Knowledge, and English. The main objective of the NESO exam is to assess language skills and story-telling.

NESO Registration

Olympiad exams conducted by the Indian Talent Olympiad follow the same registration process. The registration can be processed only through the school co-ordinator. Most importantly, if a school is interested in registering their students for ITO exams, the respective schools should register for ITO exam centers. Once the school registration is done, school coordinators should send the details of interested students and the name of the olympiad a student needs to attend. Along with the name list of students, school coordinators should send the DD of examination fees to the ITO office.

NESO Syllabus

The syllabus for NESO includes general awareness topics based on academic subjects, social causes, and creative topics. The NESO syllabus set by ITO covers all the topics of academic boards i.e. ICSE/CBSE. So it is relatively easier for the student to comprehend it and prepare accordingly.

NESO Results

After you complete attempting the exam, the first thing you will be want to hear is how you performed in the exam. The NESO results are usually out after 30 days of attempting the exam. So, the official result of ITO NESO can be expected in December. Students should have the details of the admit card to view the results.
