JoSAA Counselling Rules 2025
To participate in the JoSAA counselling, candidates must be familiar with the following JoSAA counselling rules:
- Category Verification is Strict: Candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL, PwD) must have a properly formatted and valid certificate as per the JoSAA counselling 2025. Fake or invalid certificates will lead to cancellation of the seat or conversion to the general category.
- Special JoSAA Rules for Preparatory Courses (IITs): Those who do not meet the IIT cutoff but are eligible under the Preparatory Rank List may be offered a 1-year preparatory course. After successfully completing it, candidates can join a regular IIT program next year.
