CEED Exam 2026: Admit Card (Out), Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus

IIT Bombay released the CEED 2026 Admit Card on January 2, 2026, for the CEED 2026 entrance exam. It is available on CEED's website. Candidates can download it using their email address and password. Candidates must have their admit cards with them when taking the CEED 2026 Entrance Test.

The Admit Card will include the following information about the candidate: name, CEED registration ID, roll number for CEED 2026, date of birth, category, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details, and instructions for candidates. Any inaccuracies on the CEED Admit card can be corrected until January 8, 2026, at 5 PM. The CEED Entrance Exam for the M.Des Programme at IIT Bombay is set for January 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

IIT Bombay closed the CEED application form on November 10, 2025, at 5 p.m., with a late fee. The CEED 2026 application form was available on CEED's official website, https://www.ceed.iitb.ac.in. CEED 2026 Registration for the M.Des programme with regular fees ended on November 5, 2025.

CEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

The table below explains the eligibility conditions that candidates must meet to take the CEED 2026 exam.

CEED Exam Application Form 2026

The application form for CEED 2026 is closed. The candidate will have to complete the application form online. Candidates will receive CEED 2026 admission cards only if they complete the application process. The deadline to submit the application form with standard fees was November 5, 2025, and with late fees was November 10, 2025.

Steps to Fill the CEED Application Form 2026

1. Online registration - The candidate must register on the official portal by entering their email address, name, date of birth, and other information. After successfully registering, an applicant account will be generated.
2. Check Eligibility - The candidate must go through an eligibility check process that requires him or her to input their qualifying exam, passing year, and mobile number.
3. Fill out the form - Next, provide personal, academic, and contact information. Additionally, the candidate must prioritise three exam centres.
4. Upload documents - The candidate must upload a photo, signature, and qualifying exam certificates in the specified format.
5. Payment of the exam fee - After ensuring that the application form is complete in all aspects, pay the exam fee online by net banking, credit or debit card.

CEED Syllabus 2026

The CEED 2026 Information Brochure includes the course that the candidate must follow for the entrance exam. The booklet will include the subjects for Parts A and B. The candidate must prepare for the exam using the CEED 2026 syllabus. It is important to note that the exam will include questions from the syllabus.

Sections: According to the CEED Syllabus 2026, the question paper will be divided into two sections.

• Part A: An online objective paper covering areas such as visualisation and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytic and logical reasoning, language and creativity, observation, and design sensitivity.
• Part B is an offline, paper-based test that assesses drawing, creativity, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

CEED Syllabus for Part A

The syllabus for the main themes and subtopics on which questions will be asked in CEED 2026 Part A is provided below.

Ability to use logic and structured thinking to deduce from a short passage, which of a number of statements is the most accurate response to a posed question. CEED Exam Pattern 2026

This exam includes a set exam pattern that a candidate can follow to help them do well and submit their paper on time. The CEED 2026 Exam Pattern will describe how many questions are asked and how the marks are distributed. The question paper will be divided into two sections: Part A and Part B.

• Part A includes objective-type questions (Multiple-Choice, Multiple Select, and Numerical Answer Questions).
• Part B includes questions intended to assess design, drawing, and writing abilities.

CEED Exam Preparation Tips 2026

6. Take Sample or Mock Tests for CEED: If you are a candidate for CEED 2026, taking the mock tests and sample tests from and for CEED 2026 will help to develop a successful study approach for CEED. CEED Admit Card 2026

The CEED 2026 admit has been made available on the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in, on January 2, 2026. In the event of a discrepancy, you must carefully investigate the details and promptly notify the conducting body. When the admission card is released, it will be available for download on the official website.   

Steps to Download the CEED Admit Card

To access the CEED hall ticket 2026, complete the instructions outlined below.

Step 1: To download the CEED 2026 admissions card, follow the link.

Step 2: Enter your password and registered email address.

Step 3: Download the admit card that will be displayed.

Step 4: If there are any discrepancies, such as a blurry photo or signature, contact the IIT Bombay Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) office via email.

Step 5: Print the admit card in colour and bring it to the testing place.

CEED Exam Result 2026

CEED result 2026 will be declared in March 2026 by the conducting body. You can check their results and download scorecards from the official website at ceed.iitb.ac.in. You have to enter the login credentials, such as the user ID and password. 

Steps to Check CEED Scorecard 2026

To download your CEED results, follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Visit the official website to view the results.

Step 2: Enter your registered email address and password here.

Step 3: The CEED results will be displayed.

Step 4: Only qualified candidates will get a download scorecard link, which they can click on.

Step 5: Keep the scorecard secure until the admissions process is completed.

CEED Counselling 2026

The counselling registration form is planned to launch in the third week of March 2026. IIT Bombay will not undertake a Joint Seat Allotment for CEED 2026 eligible applicants. Instead, CEED 2026's member institutes will conduct institute-level counselling. Candidates who are assigned a merit rank in CEED 2026 must apply directly to the respective institute via their admission site.

To apply for admission, the candidate must visit the admission site of the CEED 2026 participating institute, complete the counselling registration form, and upload their CEED 2026 scorecards and any other applicable documents.
