The National Institute of Design (NID) does not normally offer an answer key or question booklet for the NID DAT exam. According to the instructions in the Admission Handbooks, the answer keys will not be supplied to the candidate, even if requested. The NID will have a Rechecking window that will open after the NID DAT Prelims or Mains results for B.Des and M.Des are declared.

How to Raise Objections against NID Answer Key 2026

The rechecking window for the NID DAT (Prelims) B.Des is scheduled to open in the first week of April 2026. The charge for rechecking the DAT Prelims Paper will be about INR 2,000. The M.Des DAT Mains result rechecking window will open in the first week of May 2026.

The NID B.Des Final Result will be made available on the official website in the second week of May 2026. The B.Des rechecking window is expected to open on the results day.

To obtain the NID answer sheet.

• The answer sheet will be available only upon request.
• Candidates can make requests online for INR 1,000.
• Candidates must also present their NID DAT 2026 admission cards, which have been legally attested by the invigilator and bear the exam centre's stamp.
