NID DAT Admit Card 2026: Prelims Admit Card (Out), Download Link Activated

The National Institute of Design has issued the NID DAT Prelims exam admit card for the B.Des and M.Des programs on December 11, 2025. The NID DAT Mains admit card 2026 is likely to be available one month before the DAT Mains exam for B.Des and M.Des. The NID DAT Prelims entrance exam will be held on December 21, 2025, for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

The DAT Mains B. Des Admit Card is expected to be distributed in the second week of April 2026, while the NID DAT M.Des Mains Admit Card 2026 is provisionally scheduled for the last week of February 2026.

NID DAT 2026 Admit Card Required for Result Review

The rechecking window for the NID DAT (Prelims) B.Des results is expected to open in the first week of April 2026 and last one day. Rechecking Request for DAT Prelims for M.Des is planned to open in the third week of February 2026 at 6 p.m. It will also be open for one day.

DAT Prelims Exam Re-Check Window:

• B.Des program: First week of April, 2026.
• M.Des program: The third week of February 2026.

The NID Mains Exam has a rechecking window for both the B.Des and M.Des programmes. The rechecking window for the B.Des programme is projected to open in the third week of May 2026, while the M.Des programme will open in the first week of May 2026.

Any rechecking request will be considered only if the candidate presents a scanned copy of the NID DAT 2026 (Prelims) admit card, signed by the invigilator and sealed by the test center. Candidates must pay an online fee of Rs. 1000 per exam (anticipated) and present their admit card, officially attested by the invigilator and bearing the test centre's stamp. So, candidates must not only properly retain the admission card even after the DAT Prelims exam is done, but also ensure that they receive it.
