The KSEEB conducts the Karnataka SSLC Supplementary Exam for students who do not pass the exams.
- It is considered "NC/non-completed" for those scoring less than 219 aggregate marks in external and internal assessments.

Karnataka SSLC Grading System: Subjects Required to Pass
You must qualify in the following subjects with the marks required per the Karnataka SSLC Grading System.
- You can select Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Telugu, and Tamil for the Language 1 paper.
- Kannada and English are the two options for Language Paper 2.
- Hindi, English, Kannada, Urdu, Tulu and Konkani are the options available for Language 3.
- Importantly, Language 1 will be of 100 marks, and Language papers 2 and 3 will be for 80 marks theory and 20 marks practical.
- The core subjects will be of 80 marks theory and 20 marks practical. These will be Maths, Science and Social Science.
