CEED Exam Results 2026: Release Date, Scorecard Download Link

IIT Bombay will announce the CEED 2026 results on March 5, 2026. The direct URL to view the results will be provided on this page below. The CEED 2026 results will include all candidates' Part A scores. Part B results will be issued exclusively to candidates who meet the Part A CEED 2026 cut-off.

The CEED 2026 Score Cards will be made available on the Candidate Portal on March 10, 2026. It will be valid for one year from the date of the results declaration. IIT Bombay is also scheduled to release the CEED Topper List and detailed exam statistics, including the number of candidates who appeared, registered, and qualified. Using the CEED 2026 merit rank, the candidate can apply for admission to institutes that recognise CEED 2026 scores. To apply for admission, the individual must first visit the institute's counselling page.

The results of the CEED 2026 entrance exam will be released on March 4, 2026.

How to Reset Your CEED Login Password for Result Access?

If you forget your password, you can create a new one by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the CEED 2026 official website at www.ceed.iitb.ac.in/2026/.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Scorecard" or "Candidate Portal."

Step 3: Go to the "Forgot Password" tab.

Step 4: Input the registered email addresses.

Step 5: Click the "Forgot Password" option again.

Step 6: Enter a new password.

Step 7: Once the new password is provided, follow the email link.

Step 8: Visit the official CEED 2026 website.

Step 9: Candidates must click on the link for the "CEED Score Card" or "Candidate Portal."

Understanding CEED 2026 Score Normalization Process

The normalization method for the CEED result 2026 ensures that the difficulty of the tests taken for the Boards affects all students equally. Exam difficulty levels might change depending on when they are administered. Normalization provides for the variation in difficulty level across other slots.

Exam complexity will vary depending on the time slots in which they are conducted. To remedy this issue, the CEED results and scores for 2026 have been normalised.

Candidates are given one of two types of marks under normalisation:

• Raw scores: This is the applicant's real CEED score.
• The adjusted marks awarded to a candidate that takes into account the relative difficulty of their slot compared to other openings in their discipline are known as "normalised marks."
• A candidate's normalized CEED result 2026 will be lower than their actual marks if it is assessed that their slot is particularly straightforward in comparison to the other slots in their discipline.
• However, suppose it is established that the candidate's position is more difficult than other positions in their discipline. In that situation, their normalised grades will be higher than their actual scores.

CEED Normalization Formula

The following will be used to calculate a candidate's percentile: 

100 x Number of candidates in the ‘group’ with aggregate marks less than the candidate/ Total number of candidates in the ‘group’

What After CEED Results 2026?

CEED rank does not ensure admission to universities that accept CEED scores. If a candidate is shortlisted for admission based on their performance, they must submit separate applications to each college that recognises CEED results for M.Des admissions.

After that, applicants must meet each college's requirements for admission, which usually involve attending an additional written exam and interview process.
