UPTAC Counselling 2025: Round 4 Seat Allotment (Out), Self-Reporting

The UPTAC round 4 seat allotment result has been released on Aug 13, 2025. You can download the seat allotment result from the official website. The last day to confirm your seat after round 2 seat allotment was Aug 15, 2025. Reporting to the allotted institute will start from August 18-21, 2025. The round 3 seat allotment result was released by the authorities on Aug 11, 2025 and the round 2 seat allotment result 2025 was released on Aug 05, 2025.  

UPTAC Counselling 2025 Round 1 choice filling window has been made active online from Jul 24, 2025, on the official website. The choice filling facility was available till July 28, 2025. After concluding the UPTAC B.Tech Round 1 Choice Filling 2025 process as per the given schedule, the authorities proceed with the UPTAC 2025 seat allotment. 

The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling 2025 is conducted for admission into BTech courses in various engineering colleges based on your JEE Main scores. Dr. A.P.J. However, the UPTAC complete counselling schedule is yet to be released.

This year a total of 87,389 seats are available across all colleges, courses, categories and quotas under the UPTAC counselling 2025 for B.Tech and B.Arch courses.

UPTAC Counselling Registration

The UPTAC counselling process 2025 includes registration, document verification, counselling fee payment, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted institutions. The counselling registration started on May 27 - July 15, 2025. The authorities will also be conducting a special round of UPTAC counselling from Aug 2025, tentatively, where you were not allocated seats in the previous rounds, you can appear for admission.

UPTAC Choice Filling 2025

UPTAC counselling will be conducted in five rounds, with one additional round to fill the remaining seats. You must complete the UPTAC choice filling process during the counselling registration. 

Students can visit the UPTAC official website to lock in their preference for an institution for the seat allotment process. During the counselling session, you must bring two separate account payee bank drafts of INR 1000 as a counselling fee and a bank draft of INR 5,000 as an advance fee, respectively, in favour of the Finance Officer, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, payable at Lucknow.

You must submit the original hard copy of the documents during the verification process. Without the original documents you will not be allowed to appear for the UPTAC counselling 2025:

UPTAC Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The UPTAC counselling process requires you to fulfil certain requirements to participate in the counselling session. Given below are the UPTAC counselling process eligibility criteria:

• Youmust have passed the 10+2 examination from any of the educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh or the parent of the applicant must have a domicile in UP
• If you have not passed the qualifying examination in UP, the parents’ domicile certificate must be submitted during the counselling process
• You must have a valid JEE Main 2025 score. 
• There is no age limit

The UPTAC seat allotment process will be done based on your merit score in the previous qualifying examination or JEE Main scores. The seats are allotted based on the choice-filling preferences locked by the student.

The authorities decides on the seat allotment based on factors like merit score, choice filled, number of applicants, availability of seats, etc. You can log in to the official website to check their seat allotment results and have the option to freeze or float their fees. You must pay the seat acceptance fee if you are satisfied with the seat allotment and can report to the respective institution for the admission process.
