The conducting authority will release the medical certificate JoSAA PDF before the beginning of the counselling process. However, here are the steps to download the certificate.
- Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of JoSAA: josaa.nic.in
- Step 2: There are various options available on the home page.
- Step 3: In the top navigation bar, candidates will locate the certificate format.
- Step 4: Candidates need to click on it. It will be redirected to the certificates format page.
- Step 5: There will be four options, among which candidates must select the “Medical certificate”.
- Step 6: Candidates will be redirected to a PDF. They can check the details and download it.

JoSAA Counselling Process
Candidates must first register for JoSAA 2025 and then complete the choice-filling procedure to be considered for JoSAA counselling and allotted a seat. The step-by-step process for JoSAA registration and choice-filling is listed below.
1. Registration
- Step 1: Visit the official website of JoSAA 2025.
- Step 2: Click on the given relevant JoSAA 2025 registration link.
- Step 3: Use your respective JEE Main or JEE Advanced credentials to log in.
- Step 4: Fill out the required details with great precision.
- Step 5: Review your form, submit and take a printout for further procedures.
2. Choice Filling and Locking
- Step 1: After the registration process, candidates must choose their course and college preferences.
- Step 2: The website will list the names of institutions for which the candidates are eligible to apply.
- Step 3: The candidates must select the choices in the order of their preferences.
- Step 4: After the choice filling is done, candidates must lock their choices.
- Step 5: Candidates must take a printout of their choice and fill out the admission form.
3. Document Verification
- Step 1: Candidates must carry all the documents mentioned for reporting.
- Step 2: Besides, xerox copies and original documents are to be carried.
- Step 3: Candidates' class X and XII mark sheets, as well as the JEE Main admit card and mark sheet, are to be carried.
4. Reporting to the Assigned College

- Step 2: Next, after the counselling is conducted, candidates must wait for the college to publish the list of selected candidates.
- Step 3: If they are shortlisted, they must pay the admission fee.
