Parul University’s TechExpo 2026 brought together 1,000+ students and 50+ industry experts to showcase cutting-edge technical projects, fostering innovation, research, and industry-academia collaboration.
Vadodara- based Parul University successfully hosted TechExpo 2026, a leading technical exhibition, where innovation, creativity, and applied engineering were united on one platform. The event gave students a chance to showcase their ideas, prototypes, and technology-driven projects to the academic community and 50+ industry representatives, which resulted in meaningful interaction between industry and academia. It was a very diverse and vibrant technological display with about 250+ project teams consisting of 1000+ students representing different universities in India.
TechExpo 2026 promoted innovation, research, and technological excellence, encouraging students to learn more about the upcoming technologies and use their knowledge to solve practical problems. During the two-day event, students benefited hugely from the skills and skill development opportunities. They displayed live projects, underwent evaluations and interactive sessions, and even went on industrial visits. The event ended with a cultural night and a valedictory event at the Medical Auditorium that encouraged cross-disciplinary collaboration and learning.
The expo further enhanced the technical capabilities of the students and promoted innovation-driven thinking through the advanced technology, practical demonstration, and interactive project. The prizes worth ₹2.0 lakhs further encouraged the participants to work beyond limits and perform outstandingly. TechExpo 2026 further emphasized the research culture, technical prowess, and industry interactions of Parul University, allowing the students to present their work confidently and develop a better understanding of the practical aspects.
Over 30 other industry leaders and professionals attended the event. The occasion was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Guruswamy Krishnamoorthy, Chief Executive Officer, BPL Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Kamal Stephen, Director, Talent Discovery (Student Team for APAC), SAP Labs, and Distinguished Guest Mr. Manogaran N, Head, Strategic Service Business & Skill Development, BPL Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd., also graced the occasion.
There was a display of innovative projects made by the talented students, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, and practical problem-solving. Among the distinguished exhibits were the robotic assembly controller V.E.N.O.M., the intelligent multi-mission military robot Rakshak-AI, the industrial safety and inspection robot Wall-E, the companion robot CAKE, and the maze-solving robot DOT, among other noteworthy projects like Frost Farm Innovators, SenseTech Crew, Tech Titans, Team Stark, and AUTONOMOUS. The industry experts and distinguished guests applauded these projects and highly appreciated the innovation, research, and practical applicability of the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Devanshu Patel, President, Parul University,y emphasized “ The theme of TechExpo 2026 is part of the attempt made by Parul University to encourage innovation, research, and skills that are viable in the market. When we provide students with a chance to convert their ideas into real solutions, we are preparing them to be confident problem solvers and future-ready professionals.”
