Day two of the Vadodara Literature Fest (VLF) 4.0 at Parul University continued to build a powerful atmosphere of intellectual exchange and civic dialogue, reinforcing the festival’s position as a significant platform for discussions on democracy, governance, leadership, and social responsibility. The sessions witnessed active participation from students, academicians, and citizens, creating an environment of thoughtful engagement and reflection.
The highlight of the day was an eminent panel of national leaders and thinkers, including former Chief Justice of India Justice Dhananjay Y. Chandrachud, former Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Mukund Naravane, and renowned entrepreneur and author Ankur Warikoo. Their presence brought depth and credibility to the conversations, offering diverse perspectives drawn from constitutional service, military leadership, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.


Justice D.Y. Chandrachud delivered a deeply reflective keynote address on constitutional values and democratic thinking. General Manoj Naravane shared valuable insights on leadership, integrity, discipline, and national service, shaped by his decades of experience in military command. He underlined the importance of choosing ethical courage over convenience and spoke about resilience, strategic vision, and institutional strength as pillars of national security. He also emphasized that democracy and national security are collective responsibilities, reminding citizens that every individual plays a role in safeguarding the nation’s values and stability.
Entrepreneur and author Ankur Warikoo addressed the theme of personal growth in the digital era. He spoke about the importance of consistency over perfection and highlighted authenticity as the foundation of real progress. He shared that sustainable growth comes not from performance or pretense, but from honesty and self-awareness. His message focused on learning from failure, embracing one’s individuality, and viewing setbacks as opportunities for long-term development.
