JEECUP Counselling Process 2024

The opening and closing ranks for various colleges under JEECUP are released during the JEECUP counselling. There are several steps to be followed during the counselling to gain admission to one’s desired college. The following steps are included in the JEECUP counselling 2024:

Step 1:

Registration for the JEECUP counselling: Candidates who qualify for the JEECUP cutoff must register themselves online @jeecup.admissions.nic.in to be eligible to participate in the JEECUP counselling process.

Step 2:

Choice Filling and Locking: The candidates must fill in their preferred colleges and courses, from the most desired to the least desired one. This is because the college and course allocation is based on the candidate’s preferences and other factors.

Step 3:

Seat Allotment Result: During this step, the candidates get to know about their college and course allocation based on their JEECUP ranks, seat availability, and preferences.

Step 4:

Freeze or Float Option: The freeze option entails that the candidates must report to their allocated colleges with the documents required for JEECUP counselling. At the same time, candidates selecting the float option are required to wait for the next round of seat allotment for college upgradation.

Step 5:

Document Verification: Candidates going for the freeze option must verify the documents mentioned by the authorities. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the seat allocation.

Step 6:

Reporting to College: The last step in the JEECUP counselling process is to physically report to the allocated college with the original documents to verify the documents uploaded online and the candidate’s identification.
