• There must be at least a 6-foot distance between students in the revised seating arrangement.
• Therefore, it is advised to mark the seats that students can occupy.
• Moreover, if there are single-seater benches, then the space between the desks to maintain social distancing of 6 feet in the classroom will be sufficient.
• If the centre has the strength of 500 students, one observer will be there.
• Likewise, two observers have to be present if more than 500 students are present.
• City coordinators will appoint observers.
• Teachers should maintain social distancing norms in staff rooms, office areas, and other public interactions.

The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines will be sent to all the schools affiliated with the CBSE board for the CBSE class 12th exam.

• CBSE has collected details from the affiliated schools about the area, the number of rooms, the capacity of rooms, etc., to plan properly.
• SOP guidelines will contain safety protocols and social distancing norms followed in schools and various annexures.

Important Instructions for CBSE Candidates

You must reach the examination hall 15 minutes before the examination commencement and occupy the seats allotted to you as per the CBSE 10th and 12th exams seating arrangement. CBSE Board releases the board exam guidelines, which you must review and follow while appearing. 

The following pointers are some general rules and regulations for CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, which you must adhere to. 

• Verify the details printed on the CBSE 10th admit card and CBSE 12th admit card, and notify the school authorities in case of any discrepancies.
• Review all the instructions printed on the answer booklet and admit cards.
• The roll number in the hall ticket should match the roll number printed on the OMR barcoded sheet.
• Collect the correct OMR sheet from the invigilator.
• You must have the right question paper. Match the unique subject code printed on the paper with the one mentioned on the hall ticket.
• You will not be allowed to carry written/printed material/books into the examination hall.
• You will be debarred from the entire exam for noting down the answers on the question paper and hall ticket, copying from others and possession of cell phones and other electronic gadgets.
