The BSEB Class 10th English Exam Pattern 2026 specifies that the BSEB Class 10th English exam is of 100 marks. 100 marks are fixed for the theory exam and no marks are fixed for the internal assessment. The theory paper is made up of six sections. Reading Section of 20 marks, has three questions, Paragraph Writing Section of 5 marks, has one question, Short Writing Task (Composition) section of 15 marks, has two questions, Grammar Section of 15 marks, has fifteen questions, Translation section of 5 marks, has five questions and Literature Section of 40 marks, has multiple questions. Choices are provided in the question paper for you. From the 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), you only have to attempt 50 questions. There is also an internal choice in the 8 subjective questions. The paper is for three hours and fifteen minutes.
