CUET UG Admit Card 2022: NTA Mentions Incorrect Exam Dates on Hall Ticket

CUET UG Admit Card 2022: Aspirants of the CUET UG exam have come forward claiming that the Admit cards they received mention dates that have already passed. Besides, the dates are different from what the aspirants were intimated earlier. The candidates have approached the NTA and UGC to resolve their grievances.

Many students from across the country have complained of the mismatch of the dates in the city intimation slip and the admit card. The students did not receive any communication regarding the change of dates. Moreover, in many cases, the dates mentioned are already over, and students are worried about them being able to write the exam. There have also been reports of last-minute changes in exam centres and dates. The candidates have demanded a retest from the NTA.

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar reportedly said that candidates should email the NTA about their grievances, along with their application number. After verification of the complaints, a retest will be conducted, he added.

The fifth phase of the CUET UG exam began on Sunday. Initially, the CUET UG 2022 exams were supposed to conclude by 20 August. However, the exam had to be cancelled at several centres, and the exam dates had to be postponed for many students to accommodate the choice of exam city. Hence, NTA extended the last day of the exam to 28 August. Now, the announced schedule has been changed, and the exams will be extended again.

This year was the debut run of the CUET UG Exams. It is the second most attended exam in the country after NEET, with 14.9 lakh and 18 lakh participants, respectively. The third most participated exam is the JEE Main.
