NID DAT Mains 2022: Booking Window for Test Centre Opens Today, May 25
The window for booking the test centre for NID DAT Mains 2022 is open starting from today. Candidates must choose the center before May 27.
The National Institute of Design (NID) has opened the booking window for students’ preferred test centers for the NID DAT Mains 2022. The window will remain open from today, May 25, 4 pm to May 27, 4 pm for the B. Des. Studio Test. The authorities will conduct the studio test online in seven cities – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Pune.
NID DAT Mains 2022: Important Points
Although students must visit the institute’s website for regular updates, enlisted below is a summary of important points to follow:
- The institute will shortlist for the studio test at least three times the number of candidates than three times the number of seats available in each category or sect.
- The authorities will conduct the studio test in offline mode.
- Students will get test centers allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The administration will not accept any requests for change in test center preference.
- If the candidate doesn’t submit any preferences, the system will randomly allocate them to a test center.

Candidates will receive their admit cards after successfully submitting their preferences. Furthermore, the authorities will issue a card for the upcoming studio test in the 1st week of June 2022. The applicants must bring a valid photo identity proof on the test day apart from their admit card.
